Privacy & Cookie Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your personal information, and how we use cookies. Last updated June 2026.
InfoSeq ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We process personal information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
InfoSeq is an application security provider based in South Africa, serving clients in South Africa, Australia, Canada. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, contact us at info@infoseq.io.
Registered address: Regus, Southdowns Ridge Office Park, John Vorster Dr, Centurion, Gauteng, 0062, South Africa.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us. When you submit the contact form or book a call, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message so we can respond and scope work.
- Technical data. Our hosting and security providers automatically log standard request data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. This is used to keep the site secure and available.
- Analytics data (optional). If you allow analytics cookies, we collect anonymous, aggregated usage data to understand how the site is used. This is off by default.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not run advertising trackers.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask about.
- To keep the website secure, prevent spam, and diagnose problems.
- To improve the site, where you have allowed analytics.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small file stored on your device. We also use comparable browser storage (such as localStorage). When you first visit, our consent banner lets you accept or decline optional cookies, and you can change your choice at any time.
| Category | Purpose | Set by default? |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Make the site work and remember your cookie choice, and protect the contact form from spam (Cloudflare Turnstile). | Yes (cannot be disabled) |
| Preferences | Remember choices such as your light or dark appearance. | No, only if you allow them |
| Analytics | Anonymous, aggregated statistics on how the site is used. | No, only if you allow them |
Our spam protection is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile, which is designed to be privacy-preserving and does not track you across sites.
Who we share information with
We use a small number of trusted processors to run the site and respond to you:
- Vercel hosts and serves the website.
- Resend delivers contact-form emails to us.
- Cloudflare provides Turnstile spam protection on the contact form.
- Calendly handles call bookings if you choose to schedule a meeting.
Each provider only receives the information needed for its task, and some may process data outside South Africa. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by POPIA and the GDPR.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to deal with your request and our legitimate business records, then delete or anonymise them. Server and security logs are kept for a short period for operational and security purposes.
Your rights
Under POPIA and the GDPR you may, subject to limits in law:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
- Ask us to correct or delete your information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) or your local authority.
To exercise any of these, email info@infoseq.io. You can also contact the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
